Plant trees
Together for the future.
Why we do what we do.
Climate change can be seen everywhere. Forest dieback, rising temperatures and melting glaciers dominate the headlines. That's why we need to stop climate change. Quickly. We at PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. make sure that everyone can do their bit. In addition to the general avoidance of CO² and the targeted reduction of CO² emissions, reforestation projects in Germany's forests are a sustainable way of taking action locally. Do your bit for climate protection: By donating a tree, we can protect the environment and the climate together.
As a matter of principle, we always plant "best place" - in other words, on areas which we have specially selected and tested, where the forest has the best conditions for healthy growth and survival. In addition, we reforest our areas with a combination of mixed forests that are future-proof from today's perspective and are managed by professional planters.
Ab einer Spende von 1.000 Euro können Sie sich Ihre Wunschfläche sogar aussuchen. Aktuell pflanzen, hegen und pflegen wir pro 12 Euro Spendenvolumen einen Baum.
PLANT-MY-TREE. DIE STIFTUNG. MEANS CLIMATE PROTECTION ON SITE
In the middle of it, instead of somewhere.
Germany is one of the largest industrialized nations in the world. And thus, unfortunately, also one of the largest emitters of CO2. This is exactly where the idea of PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. begins: Climate protection directly on site! In this way, we want to make a measurable contribution to offsetting CO2 right where it is produced. That's why our more than 100 planting areas are not just anywhere, but right in the middle: in the regions of Germany. We can make a difference there. Because we know: The spoken word is not enough. Only what has been achieved counts.
Do you want to do something good?
Every donation counts! Help us to keep the forests in Germany alive!

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PROVIDERS
We plant in Germany
PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. means: climate and nature conservation right on our own doorstep - and not somewhere at the end of the world. Simply because we are convinced that it makes more sense to make a difference on site. It touches the reality of people's lives much more directly, more actively and more tangibly than a largely anonymous commitment without any personal connection.
We work with partners with over 20 years of experience
We love what we do and therefore work exclusively with experienced, reliable partners. Our partner PLANT-MY-TREE® has been successfully promoting sustainable climate protection through reforestation for over 20 years. All of our employees are not only passionate about what they do, but are also professional planters who receive specific training.
We mainly plant on our own land
Our targeted reforestation projects help to restore areas lost due to forest dieback or deforestation. After all, the traditional deciduous and coniferous forests in our region not only look beautiful, but also have a particularly important function in the ecosystem. They are indispensable helpers for climate protection by binding harmful CO2. To ensure that the tree population can grow again in a controlled manner, we mainly carry out our planting on our own land. In this way, we ensure that the trees growing there remain standing and cannot be used for industrial purposes. If we are unable to plant trees on the foundation's own land, we only use areas that we have been given a guaranteed useful life of at least 99 years so that our trees are not used for forestry purposes.
We look after our trees
You know exactly where your trees are
Donating a tree does not have to be an anonymous affair. Our experience shows that after receiving the tree certificate, many people would like to see how their own seedling develops in its new environment. And PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. makes exactly that possible. With the help of our geo-coordinates, the planting area where the donated tree was planted can be easily located. This means that trees growing there can be inspected again and again during a relaxed visit on their way to becoming a mature forest.
Plant and donate trees - with PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung.
Climate change continues to progress. Even though a lot is now being done to protect our environment and our climate, it is still far from enough. As environmental protection concerns each and every one of us, everyone can do something about it. One way is to plant trees to Donate to nature conservation. With PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. this is very easy. What is our environment worth to you? Choose a donation amount that is acceptable to you and actively participate in the reforestation of forests. We at PLANT-MY-TREE. Die Stiftung. have numerous selected areas throughout Germany where reforestation is taking place so that everyone can do their bit. Planting and donating trees is therefore an investment in our future.
Planting and donating trees - counteracting the greenhouse effect
Although the current climate change is also due to natural processes, its dimensions and speed are mainly man-made. The following points are primarily responsible for this:
- Burning fossil fuels: Burning coal, oil and gas to generate energy and for industrial processes leads to the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere. CO2 is the most important greenhouse gas and contributes significantly to man-made climate change.
- Deforestation: Clearing forests reduces the number of trees that can absorb CO2. Trees play a crucial role in the absorption of CO2 through photosynthesis. The reduction of forest areas therefore leads to an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
- Industrial processes: Various industrial activities release not only CO2, but also other greenhouse gases such as methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). These gases also contribute to global warming.
- Agriculture: Certain agricultural practices, such as the use of fertilizers, can lead to the release of nitrous oxide. Livestock farming also contributes to the release of methane.
Point 2 already shows it: the forest areas need to be larger again and more reforestation is needed! This is what we stand for by planting trees for which you donate.
Giving a tree as a gift - a great and meaningful present
We have numerous areas throughout Germany that we will reforest with your tree donations. You can plant and donate trees directly on our website. Enter the desired donation amount and whether you would like to make a one-off or recurring donation. Incidentally, you can also give a tree as a gift, which makes a great and meaningful present for many occasions. And last but not least, if you donate 1,000 euros or more, you can even choose the area of your choice. Regardless of the amount you donate, you will receive a donation certificate showing where your tree is located. This means you can even visit it. Would you also like to give a tree as a gift? Then we look forward to your donation!
